The Book of Habakkuk

Following are some of the memorable verses.in this Book.

This book presents an historical record of the reigns of King David, King Solomon, and the kings of Judah up to the time of the captivity.

1:5   Behold you among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days, which you will not believe, though it be told you.

2:3   For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

2:4   The souls of those who are lifted up are not upright in them. But the just shall live by faith.

3:2   Lord, I have heard your speech, and was afraid: Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

3:17   Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

3:18   Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

3:19   The Lord is my strength ... He will make me to walk in high places ...
