1:1-3 Blessed are those who do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of the scornful. 2 But their delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law do they meditate day and night. 3 They shall be like trees planted by the rivers of water that bring forth fruit in their season. Their leaves shall not wither, and whatever they do shall prosper.

1:4-6 The ungodly are not like that, but rather they are like chaff that the wind blows+ away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor shall sinners stand in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the ways of the righteous, but the ways of the ungodly shall perish.

2:7 The Lord has said to me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.

2:11 Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.

6:8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity ...

7:11 God judges the righteous and He is angry with the wicked ...

8:4-6 What is man, that you are mindful of him? And the son of man, that you visit him? 5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels and have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet.

14:1-2 The fool has said in his heart, There is no God ... 2 The Lord looked down from heaven ... to see if there were any who did understand and seek God.

16:8-11 I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices. My flesh shall rest in hope. 10 For you will not leave my soul in hell, nor will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption. 11 You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. At your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

18:2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress, my deliverer, my God and my strength in whom I will trust. He is my buckler, the horn of my salvation and my high tower.

18:49 Therefore will I give thanks to you, Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises to your name.

19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun,

19:12 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse you me from secret faults.

19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

22:7 All those who see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

22:8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

22:12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

22:13 They gaped on me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleft to my jaws; and you have brought me into the dust of death.

22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

22:17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare on me.

22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots on my vesture.

22:22 I will declare your name to my brothers: in the midst of the congregation will I praise you.

23:1-4 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. 4 Yes, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me.

23:5-6 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows+. 6 Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

24:1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and those who dwell therein.

26:6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass your altar, Lord:

27:4 One thing I have desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.

27:12 Deliver me not over to the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

27:14 Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart.

28:4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

31:23 Love the Lord, all you His saints, for the Lord preserves the faithful ...

32:1 A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

32:2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputes not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

34:3 O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together.

34:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

34:8 Taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.

34:12 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?

34:13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.

34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

34:15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.

34:16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

34:20 He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.

35:11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I did not know.

35:19 Let not those who are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

36:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord. The transgression of the wicked said within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

37:1 A Psalm of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.

37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any wise to do evil.

37:11 The meek shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

37:34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

40:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined to me, and heard my cry.

40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet on a rock, and established my goings.

40:3 He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; mine ears have you opened: burned offering and sin offering have you not required.

40:7 Then said I, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

40:8 I delight to do your will, my God: yes, your law is within my heart.

41:9 Yes, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

44:22 Yes, for your sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

45:3 Gird your sword on your thigh, most mighty, with your glory and your majesty.

45:6 Your throne, God, is forever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a right scepter.

45:7 You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains shake with swelling. Selah.

4 There is a river, where the streams shall make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved. God will help her early.

6 The heathen raged and the kingdoms were moved. He uttered his voice and the earth melted. 7 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord and what desolation He has made in the earth. 9 He makes wars to cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in half+. He burns the chariot with fire.

10 Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted on the earth. 11 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

49:15 God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

50:23 Whoever offers praise glorifies me: and to him that orders his conduct aright will I show the salvation of God.

51:4 Against you and you only have I sinned and done this evil in your sight, that you might be justified when you speak and be clear when you judge.
51:5 Behold, I was shaped in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me.
51:6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part you shall make me to know wisdom.

51:10 Create in me a clean heart O God and renew a right spirit within me.

51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with your free spirit.

145:20 The Lord preserves all who love Him, but He will destroy all the wicked.

147:3-5 He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. 4 He tells the number of the stars. He calls them all by name. 5 Great is our Lord and of great power. His understanding is infinite.
