The Book of Romans
The book of Romans was written as a letter to explain the importance of righteousness and to provide instructions in how to become righteous and how to live a righteous life. It explains that righteousness does not come from man's efforts, but only by believing in, relying upon, and following Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
The writer describes the disobedience of mankind throughout history, and of God's willingness to forgive and to guide people on the right course. It provides very practical guidance for living a truly successful life.
