1 Corinthians Chapter 3 1 Family+, I have not spoken to you as to spiritual people, but as to worldly+ people, even as to babes in Christ.2 I have fed you with milk and not with solid food+. Because until now+, you have not been able to bear it, nor are you able now.3 For you are still+ worldly+. For among you there is envying and strife and divisions. Are you not still worldly+ and walking in fleshly+ desires?4 For while one says: I am of Paul, and another: I am of Apollos. Are you not worldly+?5 Who then is Paul and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to everyone+?6 I have planted and Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.7 So then, those who plant are not anything special, nor are those who water. But it is God who gives the increase.8 Now those who plant and those who water are one. Everyone will receive their own reward according to their own labor.9 For we are laborers together with God. You are God's husbandry~. You are God's building.10 According to the grace of God that is given to me as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation and another builds upon it. But let everyone+ take heed how they build.11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than the one already laid, and that is Jesus Christ.12 Now if anyone builds upon this foundation: Gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or stubble,13 everyone's work will be revealed+. For the judgment day will declare it because it will be revealed by fire. Fire will test+ everyone's+ work to see of what sort it is.14 If anyone's work builds something that will last+, they will receive a reward.15 If anyone's work shall be burned up, then they will suffer loss, but they themselves will be saved, even though through fire.16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy them. For the temple of God is holy and you are one of those temples.18 Let no one deceive themselves. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this world, let them become a fool so that they may become wise.19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written: He frustrates+ the wise in their own craftiness. Job 5:1320 Again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Psalm 94:1121 Therefore let no one boast+ in mankind+. For all things are yours.22 Whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas~ or the world or life or death or things present or things to come: All are yours23 and you are Christ's and Christ is God's.
