Ephesians Chapter 1

From Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God. To the saints at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ.
He chose us to be in Him before the foundation of the world so that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.
He predestined~ us for adoption through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure~ of His will,
to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.
In Jesus, we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace
that He has made to abound to us in all wisdom and prudence.
He has made the mystery~ of His will known to us, according to His good pleasure~ that He purposed in Himself,
so that in the administration+ of the fullness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both those in Heaven and those on Earth, all gathered in Him.
For in Jesus, we also have obtained an inheritance, being predestined~ according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will,
so that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
You also trusted in Him after you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation. In Him also, after you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
The Holy Spirit is the guarantee+ of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love to all the saints,
did not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
and asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, might give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
I also ask that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened so that you might know what is the hope of His calling and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
that He worked+ in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,
far above all principality and authority+ and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in what is to come.
God has put all things under His feet and gave Him to be the head over all things to the assembly+
that is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
