Hebrews Chapter 4

Therefore, let us fear~ lest being left a promise of entering into His rest, any of you might+ come short of it.
For the Gospel was proclaimed+ to us as well as to them, but the Word proclaimed+ did not benefit+ them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
For only we who have believed do enter into rest. As He said: As I have sworn in my wrath: They shall not+ enter into my rest. Even though the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Psalm 95:11
For He spoke in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: And God rested on the seventh day from all His works. Genesis 2:2
And in this again: They shall not+ enter into my rest. Psalm 95:11
Therefore it remains for some to enter into it. Those to whom it was first proclaimed+ did not enter in because of unbelief.
Again, He specifies+ a certain day, saying in David: Today. After so long a time, it is still said: Today, if you will, hear His voice. Do not harden your hearts. Psalm 95:7,8
For if Joshua+ had given them rest, it would not have been spoken about another after those days.
Therefore, there remains a rest to the people of God.
For those who have entered rest have also stopped+ from their own works, as God did from His.
Therefore, let us labor to enter that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.
For the Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart+ of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow. It is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Nor is there any creature that is not revealed+ in His sight. But everything+ is naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Matthew 10:26
Since+ we have a Great High Priest who is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses+, but He was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace so that we may receive+ mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
