Hebrews Chapter 5 1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained by men in things pertaining to God so that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.2 He has compassion on the uninformed+ and on those who are erring+, because he himself is also surrounded+ with infirmity~.3 For this+ reason, he should+ make an offering+ for sins for the people as for himself.4 No one takes this honor unto himself, but only one who is called by God as Aaron was.5 So also Christ did not glorify Himself to be made a high priest, but God said to Him: You are my Son. Today I have fathered+ you. Psalm 2:76 As He said also in another place: You are a priest forever after the order of Melchisedec. Psalm 110:47 In the days of His flesh, when Christ had offered up prayers and supplications~ with strong crying and tears to God the Father who was able to save Him from death, He was heard because+ He revered+ God.8 Even though He was the Son, He learned obedience through+ the things that He suffered.9 And being made perfect~, He became the Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him.10 Christ was called by God to be High Priest after the order of Melchisedec. Psalm 110:411 About Him we have many things to say that are hard to explain+ because+ you are dull of hearing.12 By this time you ought to be teachers yet you have need of one to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God, and you have become in need of having milk and not solid+ food+.13 For all who take milk are unskillful in the Word of righteousness, for they are babes.14 But solid+ food+ belongs to those who are of full age, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
