James Chapter 5

Come+ now, you rich men: Weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth eaten.
Your gold and silver are corroded+ and their rust will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh as though it were fire because you have piled up treasure for the last days.
Behold the wages+ of the laborers who harvested+ your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cries out, and the cries of those who harvested+ have entered the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
You have lived in pleasure~ on the Earth and been wanton. You have nourished~ your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
You have condemned and killed the just, and they have not resisted you.
Therefore be patient, family+, for the coming of the Lord. Behold the grower+ waits for the precious fruit of the earth and has long patience for it until it receives the early and the latter rain.
You be patient also. Strengthen+ your hearts. For the coming of the Lord draws near.
Do not complain+ against one another, family+, lest you be condemned. Behold, the judge stands before the door.
My family+, take the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord as an example of suffering affliction and patience.
Behold, we count those who endure blessed+. You have heard of the patience of Job and have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is full of pity and tender mercy.
But above all things, my family+, do not swear by Heaven or by the Earth or by any other oath. But let your yes be yes and your no, no. Lest you fall into condemnation. Matthew 5:37
Are any among you suffering+? Let them pray. Are any merry? Let them sing psalms.
Are any sick among you? Let them call for the elders of the assembly+ and let the elders pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.
The prayer of faith will save~ the sick and the Lord will raise them up. If they have committed sins, they will be forgiven.
Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective+ fervent prayer of a righteous person+ avails much. Proverbs 15:29
Elijah was a man subject to passions just as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain and it did not rain on the Earth for three years and six months.
Then he prayed again and the Heaven gave rain and the Earth brought forth her fruit.
Family+, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert them,
know this: that those who convert sinners from the error of their ways, save souls from death and cover+ a multitude of sins. Proverbs 11:30
