 1 Jesus spoke these things+ and then lifted up His eyes to heaven and said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify~ your Son so that your Son may glorify you, also. 2 You have given Him authority+ and power over all flesh, so that He could give eternal life to all+ whom you have given to Him. 3 And this is eternal life: That they might know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. 4 I have glorified you on the Earth. I have finished the work you gave me to do. 5 Now Father, glorify~ me along with yourself with the glory I had with you before the world was~. 6 I have manifested~ your name to those whom you gave to me out of the world. They were yours and you gave them to me. And they have kept your Word. 7 Now they know that all things whatsoever you have given to me are from+ you. 8 For I have given to them the words you gave to me and they received them. Now they truly+ do know that I came forth+ from you and they believe that you sent me. 9 I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom you have given to me. For they are yours. 10 All mine are yours and yours are mine. And I am glorified in them. 11 Now, I am to be in the world no more, but these are in the world and I am coming to you. Holy Father, through your name, keep those whom you have given to me so that they may be one as we are one. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. I have kept those whom you gave to me and not one of them has perished+, except+ the son of damnation+ so the Scripture might be fulfilled. Psalm 41:9 13 And now, I am coming to you, and I am speaking these things in the world so that they might have my joy fulfilled within+ themselves. 14 I have given them your Word. The world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that you should take them out of the world, but that you keep them from + evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through your truth. Your Word is truth. 18 Just as you have sent me into the world, I have also sent them into the world. 19 I have sanctified myself for them+ so that they might also be sanctified in+ truth. 20 And I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in me through their word. 21 I do this so that all may be one just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, so that they may be one in us also and so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given to them the glory you gave to me, so that they may be one even as we are one: 23 I in them and you in me. So that they may be made perfect~ in one, and so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them just as you have loved me. 24 Father, it is my desire and will that those whom you have given to me also be with me where I am, so that they may behold my glory that you have given to me. For you have loved me since before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father: The world has not known you, but I have known you and these now know that you have sent me. 26 I have made+ your name known+ to them, and I will make it known+ that the love with which you have loved me can+ be in them, and I myself will be in them.
