John Chapter 21

After all these things, Jesus showed Himself to the disciples again at the sea of Tiberias, and He showed Himself in this way+:
Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of Jesus' disciples were together.
And Simon Peter said to them: I am going fishing. They said to Him: We will go with you, also. So they went forth and entered a boat immediately and that night they caught nothing.
But when morning came, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not understand+ that it was Jesus.
Then Jesus said to them: Children, have you any food+? They answered Him: No.
He said to them: Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find. Therefore they cast in their nets and now they were not able to draw it in for the large+ catch of fish.
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter: It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his fisher's coat, for he was naked, and threw+ himself into the sea.
The other disciples came in a little boat dragging the net with fish for they were not far from land but only about+ a hundred yards out.
As soon as they came to land, they saw a fire of coals and fish laying+ on it and bread.
Jesus said to them: Bring some of the fish you just+ caught.
Simon Peter went over+ and pulled+ the net full of big+ fish to land, a hundred and fifty three to be exact, and although there were so many, the net was not broken.
Jesus said to them: Come and dine. None of the disciples dared+ to ask Him: Who are you? For they knew that it was the Lord.
Then Jesus came and took bread and gave it to them, and fish likewise.
This is now the third time that Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was risen from the dead.
So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter: Simon son of Jonah, do you truly love me? More than these? Peter said to Him: Yes Lord. You know that I love~ you. Jesus said to him: Feed~ my lambs.
Then He said to Peter again the second time: Simon son of Jonah, do you truly love me? Peter said to Him: Yes Lord. You know that I love~ you. Jesus said to him: Feed~ my sheep.
And He said to Peter the third time: Simon son of Jonah, do you + love~ me? Peter was grieved because Jesus had said to him the third time: Do you + love~ me? And he said to Jesus: Lord, you know all things. You know that I + love~ you. Jesus said to him: Feed~ my sheep.
Truly+, truly, I say to you: When you were young, you seized life+ unto yourself and walked wherever you wanted+ to go. But when you become+ old, you will stretch forth your hands and another will support+ you and carry you where you do not want+ to go.
Jesus spoke this to signify by what death Peter would glorify~ God. And when He had spoken this, He said to Peter: Follow me.
Peter then turned around+ and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following. This was the one who leaned on Jesus' chest+ at supper and said: Lord, who is the one who betrays you?
Upon seeing that disciple, Peter said to Jesus: Lord and what about this man?
Jesus said to him: If I will that he stay+ until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.
This word+ went among all the family+ of believers, that this disciple would not die. But+ Jesus did not say to him: He will not die. Instead, He said: If I will that he stay+ until I come, what is that to you?
This eyewitness was the same disciple who now testifies+ of these things and has written+ these things. And we know that his testimony is true.
There are also many other things that Jesus did, which, if every+ detail was written down, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.
