 1 Blessed are those who have not walked in the counsel of the ungodly and have not stood in the way of sinners and have not sat in the seat of the scornful. 2 But their delight is only in the law of the Lord. In His law they meditate day and night. 3 They will be like trees planted by the rivers of water that bring forth fruit in season and their leaves will not wither and all that they do will be blessed. 4 The wicked are not so but are like chaff that the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly will not stand in the judgment nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous. But the way of the ungodly will perish.
