Revelation Chapter 14 1 Then I looked and behold, a Lamb stood on Mount Zion+, and with Him a hundred and forty four thousand, all having His Father's name written in their foreheads.2 I heard a voice from Heaven like the sound of many rushing waters and like the sound of great thunder. I also heard the sound of harpists playing+ their harps.3 They sang a new song before the throne and before the four beasts and the elders. No one could learn that song but the hundred and forty four thousand who were redeemed from the Earth.4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.5 No deceitfulness+ was found in their mouth for they are without fault before the throne of God.6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of Heaven and proclaiming+ the everlasting Gospel to all who live on the Earth, to every nation, family+, tongue, and people.7 With a loud voice, he said: Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come. Worship the one who made Heaven and Earth and the sea and the fountains of waters.8 Another angel followed, saying: Babylon has fallen. That great city has fallen because she made all nations drink the wine of wrath caused by her fornication.9 If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives the beast's mark in their forehead or in their hand,10 the same shall drink the wine of God's wrath that will be poured full strength+ into the cup of His indignation. They will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.11 The smoke from their torment will ascend up forever and ever. Those who worship the beast and his image and whoever receives the mark of his name will have no rest day or night.12 Here the patience of the saints is revealed in keeping the commandments of God and faith in Jesus.13 Then I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me: Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit. So that they may rest from their labors, their works follow them.14 And then I looked and saw a white cloud and the Son of man sitting on the cloud. On His head, he had a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.15 Then another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to the one who sat on the cloud: Thrust in your sickle and reap, for the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the Earth is ripe.16 So the one who sat on the cloud thrust His sickle across+ the Earth and reaped the harvest from the Earth.17 Then another angel came out of the temple in Heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.18 And still another angel came out from the altar. This one had authority+ over fire. He cried out with a loud cry to the one who had the sharp sickle saying: Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of vines from the Earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.19 So the angel thrust his sickle across+ the Earth and gathered the vines and cast them into the great wine press of the wrath of God.20 The wine press was then trod+ outside+ the city and blood came out of the wine press, even up to the horse's bridles for two hundred miles+.
