 1 After these things, I heard a great voice of many people in Heaven saying: Alleluia. Salvation, glory, honor, and power belong to the Lord our God. 2 His judgments are true and righteous. For He has judged the great whore who corrupted the Earth with her fornication, and He has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand. 3 Again they said: Alleluia. And her smoke rose up forever and ever. 4 The twenty four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne saying: Amen. Alleluia. 5 Then a voice came from the throne saying: Praise our God all of you who are His servants and you who fear Him, both small and great. 6 I heard the voice of a great multitude like the voice of many waters and like the voice of mighty thunder saying: Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigns. 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His wife~ has made herself ready. 8 To her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. For fine linen is to affirm the righteousness of saints. 9 The angel said to me: Write this: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And then he said to me: These are the true sayings of God. 10 I fell down at the angel's feet to worship him, but he said to me: See that you do not, for I am your fellow servant and one of your family+ who has the testimony of Jesus. Worship only God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. 11 Then I saw Heaven open and behold, I saw a white horse and the one who sat on it called Faithful and True. In righteousness, He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire and on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written on Himself that no one but He Himself knew. 13 He was clothed with a robe+ dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 The armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of His mouth, a sharp sword came forth to strike+ the nations. He will rule them with a rod of iron and tread the wine press with the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 On His robe+ and on His thigh He has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords. 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the Sun. He cried out with a loud voice to all the birds+ that fly in the midst of Heaven: Come and gather yourselves together for the supper of the great God. 18 Thus the birds shall eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the Earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the Lord who sat on the white horse and against His army. 20 The beast was taken captive and with him the false prophet who worked+ pretended miracles~. By them, the false prophet deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Therefore, these two were both cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 The rest+ were killed+ by the sword of the Lord who sat on the white horse, whose sword came+ forth out of His mouth. And all the birds+ were filled with their flesh.
