 1 The angel then showed me a river of the pure water of life as bright+ as crystal, flowing forth+ from the throne of God and the Lamb. 2 In the midst between the street on this+ side and the river on that+ side was a tree of life producing+ twelve fruits, yielding fruit each month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing the nations. 3 All curses will no longer exist+ there. But the throne of God and of the Lamb will exist+ there and His servants will serve Him. 4 True believers will see His face and His name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no night there and no need for any lamp+ or sunlight. Because the Lord God will enlighten+ them and they will reign forever~ and ever. 6 The angel said to me: These sayings are faithful and true. The Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things that must soon+ be done. 7 And the Lord said: Behold I am coming quickly. Blessed are those who keep the words+ of the prophecy of this book. 8 I John saw all these things and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed these things to me. 9 But he said to me: See that you do not do this. For I am your fellow servant and of your family+ the prophets and of those who keep the words of this book to worship God. 10 He said to me: Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is very near+. 11 Those who are unjust, let them be unjust still. Those who are filthy, let them be filthy still. Those who are righteous, let them be righteous still. Those who are holy, let them be holy still. 12 And the Lord said: Behold I am coming quickly and my reward is with me to give to everyone+ according to their work. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End, The First and The Last. 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments so that they may have the right~ to the tree of life and to enter into the city through the gates. 15 For outside+ are dogs and sorcerers and fornicators+ and murderers and idolaters and everyone who delights+ in and commits+ a lie. 16 Then the Lord said: I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the assemblies+. I am the Root and the offspring of David, The Bright and Morning Star. 17 The Spirit and the bride say: Come. Let those who hear say: Come. Let those who are thirsty come. And whoever will, let them take from the water of life freely. 18 For I testify to everyone+ who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone shall add to these things, God will add to them the plagues that are written in this book. 19 And if anyone takes away words from this book of prophecy, God will take away their part from the Book of Life and from the holy city and from the rewards written in this book. 20 The Lord who testifies to these things says: Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
