Romans Chapter 5 1 Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.2 And through Jesus, we have access by faith to this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.3 Not only this, but we rejoice+ in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation produces+ patience,4 patience produces experience, and experience produces hope.5 And it is hope, not shame, so that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given to us.6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.7 For scarcely will one die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps+ for a good man some would even dare to die.8 But God commends~ His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Isaiah 53:5 John 3:169 Much more then, now being justified by His blood, we will be saved from wrath through Him.10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by His life.11 Not only this, but we also rejoice+ in God through our Lord Jesus Christ from whom we have now received atonement~.12 Therefore, as by one man sin entered the world and death by sin, so death is passed upon all people+ because+ all have sinned.13 For until the law, sin was in the world, but sin is not chargeable+ when there is no law.14 Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned after the manner+ of the transgression of Adam, who is symbolic+ of Him who was to come.15 But the gift is not like the transgression+ of Adam. For if, through the transgression+ of one, many are dead, much more the grace of God and the gift by grace, through one man, Jesus Christ, has abounded to many.16 The gift is not like what came by the one who sinned. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is for many transgressions+ to justification.17 For if by the transgression+ of one death reigned through+ that one, then much more shall those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through+ one: Jesus Christ.18 Therefore, as by the transgression+ of one judgment came upon all mankind+ to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all people+ to justification of life.19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by the obedience of one many will be made righteous.20 Moreover the law entered so that the transgression+ might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound,21 so that as sin has reigned to death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
