Question: Why do some words in The AV7 Bible
have small superscript pluses (+) appended to them?
Answer: These small pluses are visual "flags" to identify
and alert readers to significant word revisions from the corresponding
words than have usually been seen in the same place in the traditional
1611-to-1769 English translation of the Bible.
While The AV7 Bible text is a new computer-generated text, and
not an "update" or further revision of the many
times revised traditional 1611-to-1769 English text, it does,
never-the-less, closely correspond to that time-honored traditional
text.
Therefore, it is possible for readers to read aloud either the
present-day-English AV7 Bible or the more archaic language
1611-to-1769 traditional text and follow along with the other
text without confusion. The same cannot be said for reading
or following along with most so-called "modern" versions.
The small pluses, can serve to alert readers to examine the
extensive documentation provided in The AV7 Bible Concordance
and related explanations to better understand the reasons for
word changes that have been made.
